A police-involved shooting in Clark is under investigation after police say a man was shot after he allegedly threatened people with a machete-type knife.
According to city officials, three male passerby tried to intervene after they witnessed the knife-wielding man go after a female in the area. However when officers arrived, an altercation took place between the man and the officer, who discharged his weapon.
The suspect was transported to University Hospital in unknown condition.
According to city officials, the officer was unharmed.
The incident remains under investigation by authorities.
