Authorities have released a surveillance photo of the suspect vehicle involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash that killed a Ramsey man overnight.
Emergency responders rushed to the 600 block of Willow Avenue shortly after 3:30 a.m., where they found the victim - later identified as 21-year-old Zackhary Simmons, of Ramsey - suffering critical injuries at that location.
Simmons was transported to Jersey City Medical Center where he was pronounced dead at 4:25 a.m.
Further investigations revealed that a large black SUV, possibly registered in New York, was seen fleeing the area after striking the victim.
