The Mercer County Prosecutor's Office Homicide Task Force is investigating a shooting that occurred last night in front of 1037 South Broad Street in the City of Trenton.
Officials say Trenton Police received calls for shots fired at approximately 8:53 pm.
Officers arrived on scene and located a male victim in the middle of the street suffering from gunshot wounds.
He was transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center and pronounced deceased.
The victim has been identified Mr. Luis, Gonzalez, 37, of Trenton.
There has been 21 victims fatallly shot in Trenton since January.
The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and the Trenton Police Department continue to investigate this shooting.
