Authorities in Newark identified the man killed in an early morning shooting.
According to the Essex County Prosecutor's Office, Tyrone Frazier, 41, of Newark, was gunned down on the 600 block of Irvine Turner Boulevard, authorities said.
Frazier was pronounced dead at shortly before 5 a.m.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
There were no arrests made.
