Authorities in Newark identified a man killed by a vehicle in Newark on Friday night.
According to the Essex County Prosecutor's Office, Mr. Kenneth A. Williams suffered the fatal injury in close proximity to the Burger King where Broad Street connects to Broadway at around 9 p.m.
Mr. Williams was pronounced dead at the scene authorities said.
The investigation is ongoing.
