Authorities have released the identity of the 27-year-old man stabbed to death on New Year’s Eve.
Asbury Park police responded to a 911 call at 11:05 p.m. reporting a victim was stabbed.
Upon arrival, EMS transported Raymundo Merino-Ruiz to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune Township where he was pronounced dead at 11:32 p.m.
The investigation remains ongoing.
