According to ACPO officials, on January 1, 2024, officers from the Atlantic City Police Department were dispatched to the Atlantic City Boardwalk at Michigan Avenue for a stabbing.

When officers arrived, they located a stabbing victim on a beach ramp in front of Bally’s Casino, Atlantic City Police said.

ACPO officials say the victim was identified as Nazir Cintron, 22.

Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office detectives reviewed surveillance from the Atlantic City Boardwalk.

Surveillance footage showed a male suspect in dark colored clothing following the victim along the Boardwalk, making eye contact with him several times, and following him onto the boardwalk ramp, according to Atlantic County officials.

Atlantic City police stated that the suspect is then seen exiting the ramp less than two minutes later and walking onto Michigan Avenue.

Surveillance footage tracked the suspect to the corner of Missouri and Atlantic Avenues, where he was observed removing a jacket and placing it in a trashcan on the sidewalk, ACPO authorities said.
