UPDATE: Armed Robbery on 18th Avenue in Newark Under Investigation

Police in Newark request the public’s help in identifying the below-pictured male suspects concerning an armed robbery that occurred on Saturday, April 15. 

Police said at approximately 3:40 p.m., officers responded to the 900 block of 18th Avenue on an armed robbery call.

According to police, the victim was robbed of his gold chain, medallion, and watch at gunpoint by two male suspects, each brandishing a handgun.

Detectives investigating this incident seek the public’s help in quickly identifying these suspects.

Police said suspect #1 is described as 5’10” tall with a thin build and a dark-brown complexion.

He was wore all-black clothing, sneakers, and a face mask. Police described suspect #2 as 5’5” tall and having a dark-brown complexion.

He wore a blue hooded sweatshirt, blue pants, white sneakers, and yellow gloves.

All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
