A road worker hired to paint markings on road was struck and killed by a vehicle on Route 1 this morning.
According to police, the unidentified worker was crossing in the designated crosswalk around 4:40 a.m. near Forrest Haven Boulevard, when he was struck by the SUV driven by a 52-year-old Morrisville, Pa, man.
The incident remains under investigation but no charges have been filed against the driver at this time.
