Newark – Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens, II, and Irvington Police Director Tracy Bowers announced today that the Irvington Police Department and the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide/Major Crimes Task Force are investigating the fatal shooting of Mr. Anthony E. Young, 37, of Newark.
Officials said yesterday, Young was found shot at the intersection of 18th Avenue and 21st Street.
He was pronounced dead at the scene at 10:28 pm.
No arrests have been made at this time.
