Middlesex County authorities announced today that a fatal shooting is under investigation.
According to officials, at approximately 9:55 p.m., authorities responded to the area of Seamen Street and Remsen Avenue following the report of a shooting.
Upon their arrival, officers located Mr. Rafael Florez-Lopez, 39, of New Brunswick and another male who sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
Officials said both men were transported to a nearby hospital where Florez-Lopez died of his injuries.
