The Hudson County Regional Collision Investigation Unit is investigating a hit and run incident in which a 39-year-old Jersey City man was struck and seriously injured while walking on the Jersey City side of the Lincoln Highway Bridge northbound lane on Saturday night
Police said the driver who struck him fled the scene.
Members of the Jersey City Police Department responded to the area around 11 p.m. on reports of a pedestrian struck with severe injuries.
The victim was transported to the Jersey City Medical Center, where he is listed in critical but stable condition.
The Hudson County Regional Collision Investigation Unit and Jersey City Police Department are actively investigating this incident.
