UPDATE: 29 People Displaced by Paterson Four-Alarm Fire

Passaic County officials announced that at 3:47 a.m. on Saturday, September 19, police and fire officials responded to a four-alarm fire at a duplex located at 86-88 Redwood Avenue in Paterson.

Officials report that the single-family residences located at 90 and 92 Redwood Avenue also sustained water and smoke damage as a result of the fire.

In all, twenty-nine individuals were displaced, but no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

According to police, no charges have been filed at this time. However, this investigation remains active and ongoing.
