Authorities continue to investigate the shooting death of a 26-year-old man.
Police responded to the Riverview Gardens garden apartment complex sometime around 11:46 p.m. Thursday, where they found a man shot in the head.
Initial investigations has police investigating this as a suicide at this time.
The victim, whose identity is being withheld, was transported to University Hospital in Newark where he was pronounced dead shortly after.
According to police, a 9mm handgun was recovered at the scene near the victim.
