UPDATE: 23-Year-Old Man Shot in Paterson

Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Troy Oswald announce that at approximately 11:30, p.m. on May 23, members of the Paterson Police Department responded to the area of Rosa Parks Boulevard Paterson on a report of shots fired.

According to reports, upon arrival the police located evidence of a crime scene, but no victim was located. A short time later, members of the Paterson Police Department were advised that a 23-year-old male Paterson resident had arrived at Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson seeking treatment for non-fatal gunshot wounds.

The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information will be released once it becomes available.
