Passaic County authorities reported that at approximately 9:38 p.m. on August 3, Paterson Police officials were advised that a 22-year-old male Paterson resident had arrived at Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center seeking treatment for a non-fatal gunshot wound.
Officials said that based on the preliminary investigation, the shooting occurred in the area of Godwin Avenue and Carroll Street in Paterson.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
