Essex County authorities announced today that the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide/Major Crimes Task Force, is investigating the fatal shooting of Mr. Khaleel Powell, 21.
Officials said on Monday, Dec. 27, Powell, whose last known address was Orange, was shot on the 400 block of Stuyvesant Avenue.
Powell was pronounced dead at the scene at 3:35 p.m. yesterday.
At this time no arrests have been made.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
