Ocean County Officials announced that a 14-year-old juvenile was taken into custody and charged with Murder for a stabbing and incident in Brick Township on Saturday afternoon.
Police said at approximately 2:45 p.m., the Brick Township Police Department responded to a residence in reference to a 911 call for an apparent stabbing.
Upon arrival, police found a 38-year-old male suffering a stab wound to the right side of his abdomen.
According to police, the victim was rushed to Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune, where he died from the injuries.
Police say the victim has been identified as Mr. Mohammed Khater of Brick Township.
Due to the fact that the individual charged with these offenses is a juvenile, N.J.S.A. 2A:4A-60 prohibits the release of any additional information.
