UPDATE: 10-Year-Old NJ Girl Killed in Drive-by Shooting

Authorities in Cumberland County seek the public’s help as they search for a gunman that shot and killed a 10-year-old girl on Independence Day.

According to police, Jasayde Holder was shot dead in a drive-by shooting Sunday night inside a home in the 700 block of W. Earl Drive in Vineland.

Cumberland County officials said Holder just completed the fourth grade at Dane Barse School and was excited for the fifth grade. 

Authorities are asking anyone who may have a security camera on their home who lives in the areas of the shooting to share video from that night with authorities.

They are asking anyone who may have information about the shooting to contact Detective Christopher Johnson at 609-579-1431 or submit information to the office’s tip website.
