Members of the Union County 4-H Variety Club display the dogwood sapling they planted at the County’s Cedar Brook Park in Plainfield last month to mark Arbor Day 2017.
In all, two dozen 4-H students took part in the event. They planted five new trees and spread protective mulch around others.
Union County 4-H is a program of the Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Union County and is supported in part by the Freeholder Board.
