Police reported non-fatal injuries for victims of a double stabbing in Newark's West Ward on Thursday morning.
It happened shortly before 1 a.m. in the 70's block of Boylan Street.
Newark authorities were notified of a stabbing in the Vailsburg community and when they arrived, they found females suffering wounds at that location.
The conscious and alert women reported that the suspect fled in a burgundy SUV, but the motive for the attack has not been immediately revealed.
The incident remains under investigation.
