Two winning tickets split the $298,674 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot from the Wednesday, April 27 drawing.
Those tickets - each worth $149,337 - were sold at the following locations:
Essex County: Krishna Radhe, 879 Franklin Ave., Newark, and
Monmouth County: Italian Delights & Spirits, 226 Adelphia Rd., Farmingdale.
Executive Director Carole Hedinger said that the two winning tickets sold for Wednesday’s drawing matched all five numbers drawn.
The winning numbers were: 06, 09, 24, 36 and 40. “We are thrilled that the winning jackpot tickets were sold at Krishna Radhe and Italian Delights & Spirits,” said Hedinger.
“The retailers will each receive a $2,000 bonus check for selling these winning tickets. Overnight, they have become two more ‘lucky locations’ for the very fortunate lottery winners.”
Hedinger also noted that 3,128 other players won $87,805 in cash prizes in the Wednesday drawing.
For correctly picking four numbers, 85 players won cash prizes of $496 each, and for correctly matching three numbers, 3,043 players won $15.00 each.
