An early morning two-car crash in Elizabeth had emergency responders on the scene where two vehicles collided sending one of the vehicles crashing into a fire hydrant.
According to officials, police responded to 5th Avenue shortly after 6:30 a.m. for a report of a crash at that location.

Police say neither of the drivers - only describe as a 52-year-old Elizabeth resident and a 40-year-old also from Elizabeth - suffered any injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
