Police reported non-life threatening injuries in a crash that occurred in Newark's Ironbound section Tuesday morning.
In the investigation, officials say police responded to reports of a crash with injuries near 487 Market Street just before 1 a.m.
Upon arrival, emergency responders began the work of extricating an occupant of one of the vehicles who was trapped in the car during the crash.
Police say the victim was transported to University Hospital for treatment while police launched an investigation into the cause of the collision.
