Two Unrelated Deaths in Atlantic City Under Investigation

The Atlantic City Police Department and the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office’s Major Crimes Unit are investigating two separate incidents that resulted in the deaths of two men in Atlantic City on New Year’s Day. 

The first case happened at around 6:15 a.m. when police responded to a 911 call about a bleeding male in the unit block of S. California Avenue.AdThe victim, identified as Mr. Vincent O’Brien, III, 50, was rushed to the Atlantic City Regional Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his wounds.

The second incident occurred at 7:34 a.m., involving a 911 call about a male with multiple stab wounds at Michigan Avenue and the boardwalk.

This victim, 22-year-old Mr. Nazir Cintron, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Autopsies for both cases are pending, and at this early stage in the investigations, these incidents are believed to be unrelated.AdThe Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office’s Major Crimes Unit, in collaboration with the Atlantic City Police Department, is diligently investigating both cases.

The public is urged to come forward with any information related to these incidents or other serious crimes.
