Police in Newark request the public’s help in identifying a male suspect wanted in connection with an armed robbery that occurred on Friday, September 2.
According to police, two male suspects robbed a victim at gunpoint and took his 2021 Mercedes Benz in the 800 block of South 17th Street. One suspect has been identified.
Police say Newark Detectives investigating the incident seek the public’s help in identifying his accomplice, who is described as a Black man in his thirties, 6-ft. tall, extremely thin, with a light-to-medium complexion, full beard and dread locs.
According to police, the subject wore a reddish hooded sweater, black Adidas sweatpants, and gray sneakers.
