Two Suspects Sought for Robbing the Frito-Lays Delivery Man in Newark

Newark Police seek the public’s assistance in locating two suspects who are wanted for a robbery that occurred on Thursday, August 3rd.

According to Newark Public Safety Director Anthony Ambrose, at approximately 11 a.m., his officers responded to 310 Renner Avenue after receiving reports of a robbery.

Director Ambrose said upon officers arrival, they met with the driver of a Frito-Lays delivery truck operator who informed police that he was robbed by a male suspect of cash.

The suspect took an unknown amount of money before he fled the scene in an unknown direction Director Ambrose said.

Detectives were able to obtain surveillance footage that shows two suspects fleeing the scene.

The investigation is active and ongoing.
