Two Stabbed in Newark Domestic Violence Incident


Police in Newark are investigating a double stabbing in the city's South Ward Sunday morning. 

The incident happened around 1:40 a.m. at an address in the 90's block of Clinton Place. 

Police and EMS arrived at the scene and found two people suffering from stab wounds, with one of the individuals bleeding heavily from their chest at that location. 

Both victims were transported to University Hospital for treatment. 

Police are looking into domestic violence as a motive for the stabbing at this time.

Authorities have not confirmed what caused the confrontation.
