The Mercer County Prosecutor's Office is looking into a double shooting that left one of the victims dead in Trenton Friday night.
Complete details regarding the shooting is actively under investigation, but according to preliminary reports, police responded to the vicinity of 538 Lamberton Street after receiving reports of shots fired at around 9:30 p.m.
Arriving units found two people shot at that location. One of the victims was pronounced dead a short time later.
The motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
Authorities have not identified the victim at this time.
