Police in Newark are investigating a multi-vehicle crash that injured two victims in Newark's West Ward Friday evening.
Emergency responders were dispatched to the intersection of 16th Street and Springfield Avenue to investigate reports of a crash at approximately 7:10 p.m.
Units arrived at the scene and found three vehicles involved in a collision with two individuals suffering non-fatal injuries at that location.
The injured were transported to University Hospital for treatment and are expected to recover.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
