Two pedestrians suffered severe injuries after a vehicle struck at a location in Asbury Park overnight.
It happened around just before midnight in the 700 block of 2nd Avenue.
Emergency responders rushed to the scene and found both individuals suffering head injuries at that location.
The pair were transported to an area hospital for treatment and are expected to survive.
The Asbury Park Police Department is leading the investigation into the incident's cause.
