Two Men Arrested for Hillsborough ​Home Invasion​

Somerset County Officials announced the arrests of Amir Enoe, 19, of Raritan and Ahmad Campbell, 20, South Bound Brook in relation to a home invasion that occurred on June 17, in the Township of Hillsborough.

Prosecutor Michael H. Robertson stated that on June 17, at approximately 2:45 p.m., Hillsborough Police Department received a 9-1-1 call reporting a robbery at a residence in the area of Bloomingdale Drive in Hillsborough.

According to police, Detectives from the Hillsborough Township Police Department and the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit responded to the scene to conduct an investigation.

According to reports, upon arrival, the victim stated that individuals entered his residence uninvited, physically assaulted him and robbed him of money and his cellular telephone.

The investigation conducted by detectives revealed that Ahmad “Lucky” Campbell threatened the victim with a knife and physically assaulted him during the incident and Amir Enoe physically assaulted him and the victim’s wallet along with his cell phone.

Prosecutor Robertson stated that on June 30 that defendant Enoe was placed under arrest without incident and charged with first-degree robbery. On July 2, defendant Campbell was placed under arrest without incident and charged with first-degree robbery.

Defendants Enoe and Campbell were both lodged at the Somerset County Jail pending a detention hearing in this matter.
