Two Jersey City men have been arrested in connection with a daylight armed robbery in Montclair, while a third suspect remains at large, according to a statement released by the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office.
Authorities said the incident unfolded around 12:45 p.m. on Sunday, June 1, when a woman walking her dog on Willow Street was approached by suspects traveling in a stolen Acura TLX.
The vehicle stopped beside her, and two individuals wearing ski masks reportedly exited the car and threatened the woman at gunpoint, demanding her jewelry.

The suspects — identified as 18-year-old Wesley A. Garcia and 19-year-old Kirvin De La Rosa — were apprehended after a joint investigation by the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office and the Montclair Police Department.
The stolen vehicle was later located in Jersey City that same afternoon.
Garcia and De La Rosa are facing multiple charges, including first-degree robbery, first-degree conspiracy to commit armed robbery, second-degree unlawful possession of a weapon, second-degree eluding law enforcement, and third-degree receiving stolen property.
The investigation remains active as authorities continue efforts to identify and locate the third individual involved.
