Newark Police are investigating a crash that left two people injured on Route 1&9 in Newark early this morning.
Police were called to the northbound lanes of Route 1&9 near the Anheuser Bush building where they arrived to find damaged vehicles with injured victims approximately 3:05 a.m.
EMS transported both victims to University Hospital suffering serious but non-life threatening injuries according to reports.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
