Two Injured in Englewood Car Crash

Police in Englewood are investigating a collision that injured two occupants of a car at a location in the city Sunday morning.

According to preliminary reports, emergency responders rushed to 81 Grand Avenue after they received reports of a car crashing into a pole with trapped victims.

Upon arrival, firefighters and rescue crews contacted PSEG to shut down power in the area before they began to extricate the victims for the vehicle.

Police say the driver of the car somehow lost control and slammed into two poles at that location.

The victims were transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries according to police.
