Police in Paterson arrested two people for possession of a weapon early this morning in the city.
Reports of a physical altercation in progress sent police to the area of 12 Ave. and William Street shortly before 2 a.m. where police arrived to the area to find two people fleeing from the scene.
A brief pursuit had authorities apprehending both suspects and recovering a weapon in the 200 block of 12th Ave.
An investigation is underway by the Paterson Police Department.
