Police in Newark's West Ward requested assistance at the scene of a fight that involved several individuals near a bar late Sunday night.
According to police, it happened around 10:10 p.m. at South Orange Avenue and South 12th Street.
Police were called to the scene on reports of a large crowd fighting at that location. When officers arrived, they found individuals engaged in physical altercations.
Two suspects were taken into custody, with one of the suspects suffering non-life-threatening injuries.
Police dispersed the crown and began their investigation into what caused the confrontation.
No officers were injured in the fight.
