Mercer County Prosecutor Janetta D. Marbrey reported that at approximately 8:52 p.m. on Thursday, June 26, Trenton Police officers were dispatched to the area of the 100 block of Passaic Street in the City of Trenton, where they found four victims suffering from gunshot wounds, including three adult males and one adult female.

One of the victims, Trenton resident Koran Hunter, 24, was pronounced deceased, MCPO officials say.

According to Mercer County officials, the victims were standing outside on Passaic Street when shots were fired at them from a vehicle that fled the scene.

The Mercer County Homicide Task Force investigated the incident and charged Trevon C.  Manning (pictured) and Jahmir A. Laws, both 25-year-old Trenton residents, with Murder, Conspiracy, Possession of a Firearm for Unlawful Purpose, Unlawful Possession of a Handgun, and multiple counts of Attempted Murder and Aggravated Assault, authorities said.

MCPO officials said that on the early morning of July 4, Mr. Laws was apprehended by the Homicide Task Force in the City of Trenton, and Mr. Manning was apprehended shortly thereafter in Falls Township, Pennsylvania, by the Falls Township Police Department.
