Two-Alarm Fire Destroys Large Mansion in Harding Township

Firefighters battled a massive two-alarm fire that ripped through a large mansion in Harding Township while you were asleep.

The early morning fire ignited inside 16 Pleasant Plains Road sending firefighters to the scene where they observed fire shooting from the roof of the residence shortly before 2 a.m.

Crews began to attack the flames from the exterior as fire tore through the home causing portions of it to collapse according to reports.

More two dozen firefighters battled the intense fire that they were able to bring under control at around 4 a.m.

There were no serious injuries reported and the cause remains under investigation.
