Emergency responders are on the scene investigating an incident where a trespasser was struck and killed by a train in Passaic a short time ago.
The incident happened on the Main-Bergen-Port Jervis line where the train from Kingsland struck the unidentified person at around 1:45 p.m. according to officials.
There were no injuries reported onboard the train.
Service on that line has been temporarily suspended until further notice.
