Emergency responders rushed to the scene of a man who became trapped by a fallen tree limb in Newark's South Ward this evening.
According to Newark Police, the incident happens just before 5:20 p.m. today.
Officials say Newark Police responded to reports of a tree service worker struck by a tree limb that fell at 88 Hansbury Avenue.
Newark officials said the worker was extricated then transported to University Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Weather is being looked into as the cause.
