A rescue operation is underway in the 300 block of Mt. Prospect Ave. after a tree fell on top of a minivan with a woman trapped inside.
The incident happened at around 2:25 p.m.
The woman is reportedly conscious, alert, and has been removed from the vehicle.
EMS are en route to the scene.
Expect heavy traffic in the area as the tree is in the middle of the street.
