Tragic Shooting in Atlantic City Leaves One Juvenile Dead, Another Injured

Atlantic City Police were called to a scene of chaos and violence in the 3300 block of Atlantic Avenue Saturday night. 

MorganThe incident, reported around 10:48 pm, involved several individuals and reports of gunfire.

Upon arrival, officers discovered two young males suffering from gunshot wounds. The first, a 16-year-old local identified only as A.C., sustained a leg injury.

He received prompt treatment at AtlantiCare Medical Center and was later released.

Tragically, the second victim, a 14-year-old from the area known as F.G., suffered a critical gunshot wound to the head. Despite being rushed to AtlantiCare Medical Center, he passed away the following day at 3:27 pm. An autopsy by the South Regional Medical Examiner’s Office is pending to determine the exact cause and manner of his death.

This shocking incident has prompted a joint investigation by the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit and the Atlantic City Police Department's Violent Crimes Unit. They are actively seeking information from the public to assist in their inquiries.
