Authorities in Newark announced that the following streets will be closed during the hours below due to the upcoming graduation ceremonies to be celebrated at the Prudential Center, 25 Lafayette Street, Newark.

Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr., stated that beginning from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m., Mulberry Street will be closed between Lafayette Street and Edison Place on Each Graduation Date Listed:
Thursday, May 15: Ramapo College
Friday, May 16: Berkeley College
Monday, May 19: Seton Hall University
Tuesday, May 20: William Paterson University
Wednesday, May 21: New Jersey Institute of Technology
Thursday, May 22: Rutgers University
Thursday, May 27: Essex County College
Wednesday, May 28: New Jersey City University
Drivers are advised to anticipate delays and plan alternate routes.
