Newark Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose announces that due to a road pavement project, the right lane on Route 21 southbound, between the I-280 interchange and Edison Place, will be closed beginning at 9 p.m. tonight to 7 a.m. tomorrow and continuing each night through Thursday, October 22.
Due to this resurfacing project, the center lane will also be closed each night at 10 p.m. At least one lane of traffic will be maintained at all times overnight.
Director Ambrose thanks you in advance for your patience and cooperation during this event. He also urges anyone with information regarding any criminal information to call the Department's 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477).
