If you are driving into the city near the Lincoln Park area this morning , expect heavy delays as there is a large water main break affecting a main road that reaches the downtown business district.
Police and utility crews are in the 400 block of Washington Street where water is flooding the area and affecting several streets including West Kinney Street.
Authorities are asking commuters to get an early start as they expect detours and major traffic problems for the morning rush.
