TRAFFIC ALERT: Delays Expected for Filming of "Isle of the Dead" in Newark

Newark

Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé announces that drivers should anticipate traffic delays on Tuesday due to the film production of "Isle of the Dead."

Officials said these delays are expected to begin from approximately 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. on August 23 at 707 Broad Street (NJ Transit City Subway at the corner of Broad Street and Raymond Boulevard).

During filming, actors will be dressed as "zombies," entering and exiting the subway station.  Police officers will be assigned to facilitate traffic control.

Drivers are advised to anticipate delays and to plan alternate routes.
