Police are investigating the cause of an early morning crash on the New Jersey Turnpike involving two tractor-trailers and an SUV.
According to preliminary reports, sometime around 3:30 a.m. two tractor-trailers and an SUV were involved in a crash south of Exit 8 near Route 33 in the outer lanes.
The tractor trailers subsequently ignited.
Although no additional details were immediately available, there are reports of injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
