Today we encouraged citizens to show their support for law enforcement as part of National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day.
The day which was started by the FBI National Academy to serve as a reminder for people to thank officers across the country for the daily risks they encounter in order to protect their communities.
Every day countless officers put on a badge and head to work not knowing what to expect or perhaps whether not knowing if they may return home.
With all the controversies and negative light that law enforcement have received in the recent months lets come together and do a small gesture that may brighten the day of those who do so much.
