A 19-year-old Tinton Falls man was taken into custody after he allegedly threw a bottle of soda from your moving car into another moving car in Piscataway.
According to police, yesterday at approximately 4:38 p.m., Thomas Nicholson, 19, of Tinton Falls, allegedly hurled a bottle of soda into a man's car following a road rage incident on Interstate 287 in Piscataway Township.
Nicholson, driving a Chrysler 300, and the victim, driving an Acura RDX, were traveling northbound in the area of milepost 9 when the incident occurred.
Nicholson fled the scene, but not before the victim was able to capture his license plate number.
After brief investigation, troopers were able to track down Nicholson at his home where he was arrested without incident.
He was taken to Somerville Station where he was charged with interference with transportation and released pending court.
